I began running about six weeks ago. I get up at 5:30 a.m. three mornings a week to run in the nice cool temperatures. Even when the temperature during the day was so hot, the mornings were nice for getting out and enjoying the time. One morning I got up and went outside, and it was 39 degrees. I found it to be a little uncomfortable, but once I started running, I found that the cold was not too bad. My body warmed up, and I was able to enjoy it.
There are days when we just enjoy life period. God’s blessings seem to overflow, and we take advantage of living that day to its fullest. Then, there are days when there are circumstances we don’t plan for and don’t want. But God’s blessings are still there. God still holds us in His hand. He still controls everything. He still loves us. There is nothing we can do to make Him love us more. Likewise, there is nothing we can do to make Him love us less. So, remember that God loves you. Just get out there and allow God’s goodness to wash over you and warm your heart. I guarantee it will be worth it!
